Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Dominique immigrated to the U.S. at fifteen. A top-ten graduate of Owings Mills High School in Owings Mills, Maryland, she attended Fayetteville State University and Morgan State University. After college, she moved to New York City, where she became a regular of The Underground House/Ball Community, the NYC LGBT Entertainment Circle, and The Pageantry System, winning six crowns /titles, locally and nationally.
Her modelling career began fifteen years ago at Brooklyn Fashion week. Since then, she’s walked or has been photographed for hundreds of designers, including on the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Her resume includes the fashion of Gypsy Sport by Rio Uribe and Stevie Boi and photography with Trang Nhiem, Genesis Ilada, and Brawlio Elias, with features in Paper Magazine, Get Out Magazine, Pop Impresska Journal, Ellements Magazine, Playbill, Daily UK, New York Times, and Vogue. Dominque is a resident model to Adrian Alicea Couture, Manuel Pelferes Courture, and Angel Ayala Courture. Jackson’s theatrical and film work include Mistress of Ceremonies in Solomon Harris’s Newark Is Burning, Carla Pridgen’s Incongruence, and Gabriel Torres’s T Times. In 2016, she appeared in Strut, a GLAAD Award winning docu-series produced by Thigh High Productions and executive producer Whoopi Goldberg, which aired on Oxygen. She is the winner of a litany of humanitarian and public service awards, including a New York State Senate Proclamation of Honor, and the Jon Micahel Harrington Humanitarian Award, Shew as recently inducted as a member of the House and Ballroom Hall of Fame.
